L'importante è partecipare...You win or lose...

Tempo fa avevo mandato questo logo a un concorso di idee per "M'ammalia-La settimana dei mammiferi". Giocare con le forme delle lettere mi piace, e l'idea che ho avuto mi pareva sbarazzina e semplice. Le mammelle sono l'elemento che caratterizza tutti i mammiferi, mi pareva inevitabile inserirle.
Ho aspettato a lungo per conoscere il responso della giuria, e quando è arrivato... beh per me è stata una delusione. Su 15 elaborati il mio è 13°...Forse è troppo porno?

Comunque mi sono divertita a farlo, tutto in Photoshop perchè non so usare altri programmi.
Meno 4 giorni alla partenza...avrò altro da pensare, dopo!




 Some time ago I'd sent in this logo for a competition , for the initiative "M'ammalia-The Mammal week"(the latin name is split by a hyphen so that in Italian it also means: it tantalizes me. Its not my idea and it's very witty).
I enjoyed playing with letters and images, and couln't help inserting the element that unifies all mammals...
After a long wait I got the response, rather humiliating: I scored 13th out of 15. Maybe I'm not a great designer, but I thought the idea was simple but cheeky and could draw attention to the event.
Too bad. In 4 days I'll be in Namibia and will forget about it...

    That's so clever, Concetta, and yes, it does signify what defines mammals. My step daughter is doing graphic design at University and she would absolutely love this!

    I liked No's 10 and 11 as well as yours of course. They all met the main requirements for a logo: simple, memorable, easily reproducable. So I would say NO, 13 out of 15 is not a fair rating and you should have been in the top three at the very least! Yes, forget about it and have a lovely trip and take lots of photos if you don't get to sketch much :)

    Ciao Concetta!Complimenti per l'idea carina, per niente osé, efficace, unico neo forse, la mancanza di animali "espliciti" però è carino credo meritasse una posizione più alta in classifica, per l'originalità dell'idea che hai avuto e poi se tu ti sei divertita credo che l'importante sia questo!!

    Mari, grazie, descrivere dal cetaceo all'uomo all'opossum in un logo mi sembrava complicato,forse un po' banale;ho optato per l'elemento unificatore...che ci fa riconoscere come parenti!
    Comunque ungere le rotelle dellacreatività è sempre un piacere.
