MILANO

Ho vissuto intensamente questi tre giorni a Milano, con la bella compagnia di Lucia e della sua famiglia. Ho visitato molte chiese, musei, piazze e ammirato Milano sotto un sole generoso, insolito e quasi troppo caldo.
Pochissimo il tempo per disegnare, ma sto sperimentando le penne multicolori e mi trovo benissimo. Ecco un ritratto rubato a una ragazza addormentata sul treno, e la Pietà Rondanini, capolavoro incompiuto di Michelangelo nel Museo del Castello Sforzesco.

I have spent three very intense days in Milan with my friend Lucia and her lovely family. I visited churches, museums and squares under a steady sunshine, very unusual for this time of year. I had very little time to draw, but I found that multi-coloured byro pens are ideal and have lots of potential.
Here is a portrait of a sleeping girl on the train and the masterpiece Pietà Rondanini, Michelangelo's unaccomplished work, at the Castello Sforzesco.
